and, honestly, it is the best $5.99 I have spent on him so far. He is generally uninterested in books or toys at this age (his main interests are pureed fruits and his big sister). But when I read him this book which contains the lyrics to the classic Skidamarink song, accompanied by cute photos of real-life babies, he flipped. He was so happy he could barely contain himself. He squealed for the first time. I melted. Now that’s love.
