I mentioned in my first post about the 2008 National Stationery Show that “ironic greetings” seem to be all the rage (pun intended) now. I first noticed these kinds of cards last year on Etsy.com, particularly “Hate Mail” by Carol Lee Designs. This genre is pretty darn funny, though I’m not sure who has the nerve to actually mail these types of cards. Anyway, Par Amour Designs was just one of the vendors at this year’s show that did a great job with this category. Some of the cards are perhaps too blunt to send:
Whie others are refreshingly honest, like this card and tote bag:
