I read in Earnshaw’s trade magazine about Tala Bee, a new children’s clothing line from Northern California. Designer Tala Banatao (who is a former Gymboree merchandiser) merges beautiful textiles and simple silhouettes into subtly-detailed yet easy-to-wear children’s clothing. One of my favorite pieces is this playful chambray Delilah Romper, which also happens to be on sale ($58.50, was originally $78; sizes 2-12). I think this designer shows great promise- keep an eye on her work at the Tala Bee website and Facebook page.
