Shop for Layla Grace

On Twitter, I’ve been following the story of Layla Grace, a two-year-old girl in Texas with stage 4 high-risk neuroblastoma. You can read Layla’s story here. She is now home receiving Hospice Care and her time is limited. I can not imagine what her family is going through.

A lovely children’s boutique with a similar name- Layla Grayce– has responded to their customers’ requests to bring awareness about Neuroblastoma and this little girl’s story, and to help raise money for her medical bills.

Through March 20th, Layla Grayce will donate 20% of purchases from the following brands to help the cause: DwellStudio, Little Giraffe, Newport Cottages, Oopsy Daisy Baby pettiskirts and Skip Hop. From those sales, the store will 50/50 to the family’s medical funds and the Texas Children’s Cancer Center.

Please visit Layla Grayce to shop for this very worthy cause.

okay, just spent 30 minutes reading her blog and crying my eyes out. What an amazing reminder to enjoy every moment of the day with my boys (especially the ones that drive me crazy!) God bless Layla and her family – I cannot imagine a second of their pain.

I know. I feel exactly the same way following this story. It has made me appreciate every moment (even the tough ones) that much more.
