Can I tell you how much I LOVED the movie Hot Tub Time Machine? I saw it last weekend and I haven’t laughed so hard at a movie in a long time. Of course, I am a 1980s junkie so I ate up all the clothing, pop culture references, and- above all- the music, like Scritti Politti’s “The Perfect Way” which plays early on in the movie. That was one of my favorite songs in junior high school; I think I have it on several dusty mix tapes. The Hot Tub Time Machine soundtrack is a winner, including “Perfect Way” and other 80s hits like “The Safety Dance” and “Jessie’s Girl” (plus a glimpse of the future- “Let’s Get It Started”). Great party music, even now. Buy the soundtrack on CD ($11.99) or MP3 at Amazon.com.

I totally agree! The 80's stuff was cool. I think it was marketed as more of a frat-boy kind of movie so I was pleasantly surprised! If you were teenagerish in the 80's you'll probably love it!
