MyMomShops’s 5th Birthday

I nearly forgot that today is the 5th birthday (or “blogiversary”) of MyMomShops. My 8-year-old daughter reminded me (“Mommy, are we getting cake for your blog’s birthday?”)

Five years ago today–on January 17th, 2007–I posted this.

And I’ve kept it going for five years…posting nearly every day (now approaching 3500 posts, all written by yours truly), and through five tumultuous years in my life. This blog has kept me busy, happy, and sane. And, I’ll pat myself on the back for a second. Keeping a blog going every day for five years–well, this is the equivalent of reaching very, very old age in the blogosphere.

Thank you to each and every one of you for reading MyMomShops.

No, there won’t be cake today, but as an even greater token of my appreciation, we are going to have a superb giveaway later this week. Hint: It has to do with one incredible designer. You’ll love it.
