Mom’s Memory Book

If you’ve read this blog for awhile, you probably know that I’m a sucker for sentimental, keepsake gifts. And Mother’s Day is a perfect time for those. I was sent a sample of the just-published For My Children: A Mother’s Journal of Memories, Wishes and Wisdom, which touts itself as an “easy-to-follow and heartfelt journal for moms to pass down their life story and joy of motherhood to their children.” In other words, a place to write beautiful things about your experiences as a mother during the moments when you are feeling calm, cool, and collected (ha!). The book is full of creative prompts, full-in-the-blank lists, and questions that make it easy for even the most brain-fried mom to record answers that her children will always cherish. Topics include everything from family vacations to childhood traditions to falling in love and getting married. And, of course, motherhood.  Buy it for a special mother (or, it works equally well for grandmas), at Amazon.com, where it costs $10.17.

I received a sample book for purposes of this review.  I was not compensated for this post, and all views expressed here, as always, are entirely my own.
