I’m back from a four-day getaway with R. (almost age 9). We took a girls-only trip to visit some dear friends in Toronto, while S. (almost age 6) had a “staycation” here with Grandma & Grandpa. It was the 1st time in Canada for both R. and me and we were both excited to do some sightseeing. We had a great time and I highly recommend Toronto as a manageable, family-friendly city to visit. I’ll be posting some highlights of our trip later on, but for now, here’s one of my surprise favorite pictures–R. and I caught in the reflection when I snapped a photo of the modernist architecture of the Royal Ontario Museum (the “ROM”):
