Have you received your CWDkids.com Fall 2012 catalog in the mail yet? I have dog-eared just about every other page with clothing for soon-to-be 1st grader S. and 4th grader R. Happily, I also got the chance to review some back-to-school looks for CWDkids. I love that this clothing is colorful and stylish, but always age appropriate and comfortable, too. Take a look:
R. got to sample this Hearts Wrap Dress. She is picky about dresses–and about fabrics that are uncomfortable–and she was very happy that the dress feels “so soft like a nightgown!” It’s a silky, printed faux-wrap dress with a tie belt and full skirt (I like that the wrap is faux since I can never figure out real wrap dresses and I know R. would not have the patience for one). The dress costs $44 and is available in sizes 4 through 16.
S. got this State Tee & Cargos. The screen-printed, garment-washed tee is very cool and when he tried it on, R. spent quite a while testing herself on states and their capitols (which are printed on the reverse side of the tee). In fact, she told S. she will be borrowing this tee from him. And, the denim cargos are also a plus for S’s wardrobe because he, too, has sensory issues and doesn’t tolerate regular jeans. So I like that these give the “look” of blue jeans but with the comfort of pull-on, elastic waist cargo style pants. The tee costs $27 (sizes 2T-16) and the pants cost $32 or 2 for $58 (sizes 2T-14/16, various colors).
