Tea Collection’s choice of Fall 2012 location inspiration–Norway–is a winner in my book. There are lots of fresh looks for this popular San Francisco-based designer of quality, comfortable-yet-stylish everyday wear for kids. These are some outfits that popped out for me in this Fall’s collection.
Adorable Dots Shift Dress ($35, sizes 3-6mos to 12 years). I love the mod, Pop-Art feel of this dress (it reminds me of the NY designer Lisa Perry). The print wraps around the front and back of the dress. It’s 100% cotton jersey and machine washable.
Tea also specializes in mix-and-match value sets. This Spiral Floral 5-Piece Set ($128, sizes 2-12) will provide endless opportunities to dress your daughter in the best of Nordic design. The set includes Finn Flora Shift Dress, Moderni Top, Spiralbound Top, Piped Skinny Leggings (love that piping accent), and Bootcut Pants.
I’ve always been a big fan of Tea’s tees for boys, and they layer especially well. Here is the Copenhagen tee ($26, size 3-6mos to 12 years) layered over the mod stripe tee ($30) in the on-trend color combo of neon yellow plus gray. I bought the striped tee for my own son.
When S. wears the new mod stripe tee, he’ll pair it with his new French Terry Cargos. Those terry cargos have become a staple of my son’s wardrobe year after year. They’re a top seller for Tea Collection with good reason–they are durable, comfortable, and keep looking great (stylish yet practical) wash after wash. I highly recommend them for active little boys.
