You know that I am a big stationery-phile. I love the feel of paper, and the act of writing and sending a letter (I do not, however, love my handwriting, which seems to get even worse every year).
That being said, I am probably busier than I have ever been in my life, and I rarely get to pen handwritten notes or greetings as much as I’d like to. I usually rely on email…and I’m sure you all do, too. And, usually, it doesn’t feel as “nice.”
But, there’s good news for those of us who love the personalized touch of stationery, but need the convenience of email correspondence. I’m proud to introduce you to our newest sponsor, MeebleMail, a brilliant concept that adds your personal touch, along with some “oohs” and “aahs”, back to plain old e-mails.
Basically, MeebleMail is personalized email stationery. Whether you use Google, Hotmail, or Yahoo, this application allows you to customize your missives with loveliest of monograms, motifs, and patterns, all designed by some of my favorite designers like Celerie Kemble, Thomas Paul and Trina Turk. And it’s easy peasy to use. You just choose a pattern you like, pay a low flat fee of $4.99 to download it for one year’s use, and add the MeebleMail application to your email toolbar. Voila! Whenever you want your email to look a little more special, click on your MeebleMail design (you can use it as often or as little as you’d like, depending on the type of email you are sending).
As someone who loves girly stationery, I was very impressed with MeebleMail’s designs (“Acapulco” by Trina Turk, shown above, is probably my fave so far). And, for all you Halloween-philes out there, they added some spooky designs just this week, giving a ghoulish touch to your Fall correspondence.
Also new are these fun Election-themed designs; of course, I’d choose the Democratic emblem. The election designs are free, by the way!
Christmas & Thanksgiving patterns are not far behind, either….so if you think your holiday cards might be late (again) this year, consider adding a MeebleMail design to your Fall/Winter emails instead. I guarantee the recipients will take a second look and smile.
