Thanks to everyone who’s inquired how my family is doing during the storm. We are fine here in NYC. We lost power briefly and a door came loose, but that was about the extent of the damage (far better than last year’s Hurricane Irene which flooded our apartment and gave us months of repairs). Compared to others in New York City, we are very, very lucky. I am so grateful.
We are still on track to celebrate Halloween–and my 40th birthday–tomorrow!
I hope that all of you are safe and sound, too. My thoughts and prayers are with those of you affected by this unprecedented storm.
