Now We Are 6

I remembered late last night that today is the 6th birthday (“blogiversary”) of MyMomShops. I published the first post on January 17th, 2007.

This is what my kids looked like then. S. was five months old, R. was almost three-and-a-half.

Since then, I’ve posted almost every day, totaling almost 4000 posts. All written by me (well, just a handful written more recently by my prolific now-9-year-old). I know that many of you have been reading MyMomShops from the very beginning–thank you from the bottom of my heart. These past 6 years have been a roller coaster for our family and the blog has been a wonderful constant in my life (plus a welcome distraction and something that I really enjoy doing). Six years is positively elderly in the blog world and I consider myself very lucky to still be here.
