Updated for November 2014! This post continues to be one of the blog’s most visited. If you are shopping the week of Cyber Monday 2014, I would also suggest this tall Pink Doll Carriage by Lollipop Toys–it’s available at Zulily for $34.99 (regularly $65) right now. Every day, lots of readers end up here via a Google search for doll strollers for taller or older girls. Since I last tackled that shopping question back in 2011, I thought I’d post an update. Here are my top picks of doll strollers on the market for older girls (say, ages 5 and up). Each of these strollers has a handle which can adjust to about 30 inches high (or even 32 inches high). Be sure to double-check measurements before you buy:
My Sweet Princess deluxe pram (on sale for $49.99, originally $119.99) at Amazon.com. This modern take on an old-fashioned pram is 32″ high and includes a free carriage bag.
Polka Dot Doll Pram ($79 at Pottery Barn Kids). Designed after vintage-style English prams, this stroller’s handle adjusts from 25.5″ to 32.5″ long, and is especially designed for preschoolers and older girls. The jumbo sized rubber wheels stand up well for outside strolling, too.
Joovy Toy Doll Caboose Tandem Stroller – Pink Dot ($79.99 at Amazon.com). This all-in-one stroller has a doll car seat carrier system; two-position front seat footrest; snack tray; and rear platform which accommodates two more “babies” or stuffed animals. Plus a handy storage basket for running “errands.”
Three Wheel Doll Jogging Stroller ($39.99 at Target). One of the less expensive options for bigger doll strollers, this sporty option has a height-adjustable padded handle (goes up to 30.5″) and folds easily for storage.
