Let me tell you about this wonderful shop I discovered at the Renegade Craft Fair in Williamsburg, Brooklyn a week ago. Chez Sucre Chez is the work of artist Kimberly Scola, who takes her inspiration from traditional needlework (and more contemporary lyrics and quotes) to create pieces that are both classic and modern. You can find her work for sale at her Etsy shop–everything from wall art to tea towels to DIY kits. My favorite piece is the “please please please” framed hoop (inspired by The Smiths’ lyric). Check out Chez Sucre Chez for more of Kimberly’s beautiful work.
