Now that CB2’s Fall 2013 collection is online, I can to share some of my favorite finds from the press preview they hosted this past Spring. I had my 9-year-old daughter in tow (she is a huge CB2 fan) so some of these are her picks as well as mine:
Shop Red Chest ($399) with 3 Piece Row House Set ($129). I can picture the shiny red dresser everywhere from a kids’ room to a playroom to a home office–here it shows off a recycled saal wood set that can be shown as a city block or standalone homes.
You Have No Idea Print ($199): A real conversation piece, this digital print by artist Matthew Lew is a nod to vintage imagery and modern pop art.
Wud Walnut Platters ($49.95). Handcrafted in Carbondale, Colorado by furniture designer David Rasmussen, these colorfully-bordered black walnut platters would be a unique hostess or holiday gift.
Stones of Color Rug ($399). Aqua with red accents is one of my favorite color combinations. And this rug is extra special because it was made in collaboration with San Francisco’s Creativity Explored, a nonprofit visual arts center where artists with developmental disabilities create, exhibit and sell art. This handtufted wool rug is based on a watercolor, ink and marker artwork by Creativity Explored artist Katherine Finn-Gamino.
Suitar Escargot Loveseat ($1199). R. gave a thumbs-up to this dark grey two-seater sofa with classic wingback curves.
Jaipur Handpainted Stripe Bed Linens ($49.95-$219). I love the Jaipuri-dyeing inspiration behind this grey, blue, and grey striped bedding.
DGC Mug ($3.95). A cute gift-on-the-go, this coffee mug features diner-style typolgraphy and oversized square handles.
